The idea for “Fishy Wishy Firestarters” was suggested by P. Ryan of Minnesota. Following an annual Canadian fishing trip, he confided that the daily shore lunch was only possible with the help of our firestarters to light the fire. Each noon he and his friends would pull onto an island and prepare a fresh caught walleye lunch over a blazing fire. He even generously shared his special walleye recipe!
